Brief introduction

This project is our company's European quality in American poultry farm,

• This poultry farm project was finished in 2005.

• Automatic 8 tiers of chicken cage system, poultry house ventilation system, and so on.

• Using for more than 20 years, although the equipment looks old, it is still sturdy and durable.

• Pictures were taken in 2020 when our engineer visited this poultry farm on the fifth time.

We designed this poultry farm as customer's following request.

• He hopes to have a modern poultry farm, operates automatically.

• Total 1,000,000 chickens 100,000 chickens per poultry house, 10 houses.

• The eggs are directly supplied to supermarkets.

Equipment of this poultry farm

1. Equipment outside the chicken house

Feed silo

• Two pieces fixed in the beginning and ending of per poultry house. It is connected to the automatic feeding hoppers inner chicken house by augers.

• Weighing device is available, worker records daily chicken feed consumption, to make adjustments to feed quantity for getting even chicken weight.

Manure convey system

• The horizontal belt inside the chicken house, the slanting belt outside the chicken house.

• The horizontal belt takes the chicken droppings out of the chicken house and the slanting belt can take the chicken droppings to the truck directly.

Ventilation system - Fans

• The whole system includes an exhaust fan, cooling pad, deflector, and air-inlet windows.

• The exhaust fan and cooling pad can maintain an optimum temperature range(13″C -26″ C), the best is 22C. Proper temperature can improve the feed conversion ratio, and increase egg production.

• Above 26 degrees, it will increase the difficulty for chickens to dissipate heat, which will lead to stress response and increase mortality.

• Above 43″C, all the chickens will die. Exhaust fan and air-inlet windows make sure fresh air come in, and bring out harmful gas like ammonia gas, ammonia gas which will cause respiratory disease.

• Deflectors change cool air direction, to prevent chickens from catching cold.

Egg collection system

• Egg conveyor system fixed in outside of all poultry houses and connected all poultry house to a line.

• Eggs are delivered to the egg storage room at last.

2. Equipment inside the chicken house

Ventilation system - cooling pad

• It cooperate with exhaust fan, deflector, and air-inlet windows fixed in different side walls.

• Maintain an optimum temperature range(13″C -26″ C).

Middle floor

• There is a steel grating floor with stairs for workers walking in the middle of upper 4 tiers and lower 4 tiers.

• This structure greatly increases the number of chickens in a chicken house.

Feeding system

• It is combined with feed hopper, hopper frame and hopper track. 

• The feed is stored in the silo outside chicken house, the feed is distributed automatically to the feed hoppers from the feed silos by the spiral augers (from South Africa with the best quality) installed in the steel pipe, feeding hoppers move and drop the feed from the beginning to the end of chicken house.

Egg collection system

• Chicken drop eggs to bottom cage mesh, egg rolls to egg belt.

• Egg belt deliver all eggs to terminal egg conveyor lifting system inside of chicken house.

• Then to egg conveyor system fixed in outside of all poultry houses, eggs are delivered to the egg storage room at last.

Support the cage body, connecting the upper 4 teris and the lower 4 teris.

Manure convey belt system

• It is fixed under each tiers of the chicken cage.

• Chicken drops manure to the manure belt, the belt transfer manure to terminal lateral conveyor belt inside of chicken house, then delivered to the oblique conveyor belt outside of the chicken house, truck accept the manure from the oblique conveyor belt.
